The Detroit Lakes Youth Soccer Association (DLYSA) annual fundraiser will be held at the Historic Holmes Ballroom, Saturday, Sept. 14 from 6-9:30 p.m.

The event features silent auction and live auction items to support the local soccer club’s facilities and programs.

Featured prizes this year are multiple gun raffles, a Trek Bicycle from DL Bike Shop, custom Corn Hole Boards, Kayak and Yetti coolers from Lakes Sports Shop, tickets to a Minnesota United soccer game from Jim’s Barber Shop, and Jewelry from Price's Fine Jewelry.

The event is the only fundraiser for the club and is essential to continuing the soccer program in Detroit Lakes; which serves over 250 youth each year.

Tickets are $100 which includes dinner and drinks for two people, catered this year by La Barista.

The DLYSA's mission is to promote and foster, in our members, a basic knowledge of soccer by creating a fun, fair and safe environment emphasizing a competitive spirit and focusing on skill-development, respect, self-confidence, leadership, sportsmanship and teamwork.
