Wide receiver Adam Thielen returned Sunday for the Vikings after missing one game with a hamstring injury.
Thielen, who had been listed as questionable, tested the hamstring before the game against Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium. He was pronounced ready and activated.
Inactive, as expected, for the Chiefs was quarterback Patrick Mahomes, last year’s NFL MVP. He will miss his second straight game with a knee injury, and again be replaced by Matt Moore.
Inactive for the Vikings were safety Marcus Epps, center Brett Jones, tackle Oli Udoh, guard Dru Samia and defensive tackles Hercules Mata’afa, Jalyn Holmes and Armon Watts.
Also inactive for the Chiefs were cornerback, Kendall Fuller, running back Darwin Thompson, defensive ends Frank Clark and Alex Okafor and offensive linemen Eric Fisher and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif.
Thielen was hurt after scoring a touchdown in the first quarter Oct. 20 at Detroit. He sat out the Oct. 24 game against Washington, the first game he had missed in his six-year NFL career after playing in 87 in a row.
