Remington Ness was recently named to the 2019 All-State Trapshooting team by the Minnesota Trapshooting Association.

To qualify, shooters must register targets at four or more Minnesota clubs, compete in the high all-around competition at their resident Minnesota zone shoot or at the state shoot and register a large number of targets over the course of the year.

Out of hundreds of Minnesota shooters who actively compete, only 56 were chosen to represent the state in six team categories: Men, Women, Senior Veteran, Veteran, Junior and Sub-Junior.

Ness was recognized in the Sub-Junior category.

The Sun-Junior team consists of five other candidates: captain Anthony Klassen of Benson, along with Ness, Cody Smith of Chisago City, Devin Drummer of Alexandria, Benjamin Munson of Annandale and Ali Jean Peterson of Alden.
