Ashley Bachmann joined the 1,000 point club Monday night as Frazee won their last game of the regular season 68-54 over Mahnomen in Frazee.
Bachmann is just the seventh Lady Hornet to reach the milestone.
"What a great accomplishment for Ashley and it is a credit to all the hours that she has put in working on her shot," head coach Dave Conzemius said. "It was nice for her to be able to do it at home. I know that she was glad to get it done before we start the playoffs."
As for the game, it was back and forth for the first seven minutes. Then the Lady Hornets (19-6 record) went on a game changing run.
With the score tied at 10, Frazee went on a 22-2 run to take control of the game. Mahnomen (11-12 record) tried to get back in to the game but were never able to get closer than 11 points the rest of the way.

It was also Senior Night for the Lady Hornets as they honored their eight seniors.
Playing in their last regular season home game was Bachmann, Alexis Tappe, Katie McCorquodale, Amber Bauer, Paige Hanson, Heidi Seeger, Sam Barker and Grace Lacey.
Frazee earned the No. 4 seed in Section 8-2A south and will host No. 5 seed Wadena-Deer Creek Thursday night.
The winner will play the winner of the Hawley and Perham game Saturday night at Concordia College at 6 p.m.
Following their heartbreaking loss to Hawley, the Lady Hornets were right back in action on Friday night with winner of their game with D-G-F, claiming second place in the HOL conference.
The Rebels were able to withstand a furious Lady Hornet come back as D-G-F escaped the Hive with a 71-67 victory in overtime.
Frazee (18-6 overall, 7-5 HOL) understandably came out flat after the tough loss the night before to Hawley. D-G-F (14-8 overall, 8-3 HOL) captilzied as the opened the game with 28-8 run.
The Lady Hornets closed the half with an 11-5 run to make the score 33-19 at the half and Frazee came out blazing in the second half with 19-5 run to tie the score at 38-38.

Josi Tappe keyed the run as she went 4-for-4 on 3 pointers in the second half.
"Josi really keyed us in the second half," Conzemius said. "She is an exciting player to watch and when she gets hot she can score a lot of points in a hurry and we saw that happen tonight."
The rest of the game was a back and forth affair.
Frazee had its chances in overtime but D-G-F made enough plays to pull out the win.
Josi Tappe led five Lady Hornets in double figures with 18 points, five rebounds and three steals.
Katie McCorquodale had 15 points and six assists, Alexis Tappe had 12 points,
eight rebounds, six assists and three steals, and Taylor Tappe and Bachmann had 10 points each.
"Again, this was a tough loss for the girls," Conzemius added. "But we showed a lot heart to battle back after the tough start to the game.
