Jackets dominate HOL baseball awards

The Heart O’ Lakes Conference postseason baseball awards were announced. The Perham Yellowjackets dominated the number of distinctions as they did the play in the HOL this year.

Perham senior Dawson Stevens was named the league’s most valuable player. Sophomore teammate Noah Rooney was the most valuable pitcher.

Perham was 12-0 in HOL play this year, captured the Section 8AA championship and advanced to the state tournament.

The Frazee Hornets (1-11) were represented by junior Jaden Guhlke, an all-conference nominee, and Jack Pikula earned honorable mention.
