Herzog was defeated in the round of 32 by Megan Furtney of Deer Run Golf Club 2&1.

Play continues in the quarterfinal round highlighted by a big matchup between University of Missouri golfer and former Red Wing High School star Sophia Yoemans and Kathryn VanArragon, a 15-year-old Blaine standout.
