Chivers continues career as Loyola analyst

Jack Chivers, a 2000 Detroit Lakes graduate, is continuing his broadcasting career for the Patriot League / Stadium Network covering the Loyola Greyhounds.

Chivers played basketball at Loyola University in Baltimore from 2001-05 after a postgraduate season out of high school at St. Thomas More Academy where he was a member of the 2001 New England Prep School Championship team.

He went on to captain Division I Loyola his junior and senior seasons.

Chivers began his broadcasting career as an analyst for Loyola in 2007 and has called games nationally for ESPN radio, including games at Cameron Indoor Stadium when Loyola played Duke in 2008 and a first round Loyola/Ohio State matchup in the 2012 national tournament.

Chivers has covered head coaches Jimmy Patsos, G.G. Smith, the son of Tubby Smith, and currently Tavaras Hardy, a former Big 10 player at Northwestern and assistant at Georgetown and Georgia Tech.
