Detroit Lakes competes in first meet at Detroit Mountain

Detroit Lakes competed in its first of two home meets in the early part of the 2021-22 season on Tuesday morning at Detroit Mountain.

The Lakers took sixth in both the boys and girls sprint relay team scores. Evan Thomas and Casey Parks paced the Detroit Lakes boys with a time of 23:07.9, while Hunter Zehnacker and Zac Carlson finished in 23:44.4.

Lexi and Madi Gerdes finished in 18th in the girls field with a time of 26:4.7. Siri Vagle and Kira Wolf weren't too far behind in 19th (28:47.7), while Julia Steffl and Anna Askelson finished in 30:25.8.
