And the section list grows for the Detroit Lakes boys' swimming and diving team.
After Saturday's DL Invite inside the BTD Aquatics Center, the Lakers now have 14 boys qualified for the Section 8-1A meet, with several not far behind.
The depth the Lakers are displaying has been lifting DL to numerous wins, including Saturday's first-place finish out of five teams with 416 points.
"The boys had a great meet and they worked hard for the win," said DL head coach Rian Heimark. "The boys improved 28 of their best individual times for a combined amount of 1:15.56."
The Lakers earned a combined 29 medals (top six individually and top three for relays), which included seven first-place finishes -- proving they not only have depth, but top-heavy talent as well.
