The Lakers trailed 36-24 with four matches to go but gave up 18 points negating match-ending pin in 55 seconds by No. 5AA James Huwe over Jake Bohl at heavyweight.
DL’s ranked wrestlers were 6-0 in both duals.
No. 2-152 Parker Jackson won by forfeit against Fosston/Bagley and pinned Thief River Falls’ Brenan Peralta in 1:56.

No. 8-160 Nate Francis won a 3-2 decision over the Greyhounds’ Sam Manecke and pinned Kyle Miller in the first period at 1:45.
The Lakers defeated Fosston/Bagley 40-30.
Huwe protected a 34-30 lead in the final match with his second pin of the night. Huwe won by fall over Nick Anderson in 69 seconds.
DL built a 34-6 lead after winning seven of the first nine matches.
Austin Baker highlighted the early run with a 14-second pin of Tyler Maruska at 132-pounds to put DL up 19-3.
Fosston-Bagley made up 24 points in four late matches with an injury default (220), two DL forfeits (182, 220) and a Jake Ubert pin of Jordan Mackner at 170.
126-pounder Payton Jackson won both his matches with a pin and a decision.
Previously ranked Braydon Ortloff pinned Connor Lomen of the Greyhounds at 5:24 and received a forfeit at 120 against the Prowlers.
