A potent rushing attack led to 444 yards on the ground and eight touchdowns in Pelican Rapids’ road rout over Warroad 57-18 Friday.
Viking senior running back only touched the ball five times, but was able to rack up 163 yards and three TD runs of 59, 72 and 16 yards – all in the first half.
Quarterback Blaine Gorton also found plenty of room to run, as he went for 122 rushing yards on four carries and three touchdowns.
Other Vikings adding touchdown scampers included Gauge Lee (28 yards) and Robert Mazaiegos (20).
Warroad rushed for 203 yards on 52 carries, with Blayke Nelson leading the way with 141 yards on 21 attempts.

The Vikings (2-2) will travel to winless Staples-Motley (0-4) Friday for another HOL Conference game.
