Recent weather has Friday night football games on the move to locations to take advantage of turf fields.
One game staying put is Fergus Falls at Detroit Lakes Friday night at Mollberg Field. The game remains as scheduled with a 7 p.m. kickoff in one of the only area games being played on natural grass.
Other games are moving to the turf field at Jim Gotta Stadium at Moorhead High School.
Friday, Roseau-Barnesville will take the turf at 3 p.m. Park Christian's game against Warren-Alvarado-Oslo will also head there, that game kicking off at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, Wadena-Deer Creek plays Frazee at 10 a.m. West Central Area will take on Breckenridge with a noon kickoff. Mahnomen-Waubun's road contest at Pelican Rapids was scheduled in the afternoon, but has since been canceled.
Underwood and New York Mills, originally scheduled to be played in Underwood Friday night, has been moved to the turf at Otter Stadium in Fergus Falls. Detroit Lakes had the option to move its game with the Otters to Fergus Falls, but conditions would have to be far worse to flip a home game to the opponent's stadium.
Moorhead is moving its game as well. The Spuds battle with Sartell-St. Stephen will stay on Friday, but will move to St. Cloud Tech. Kickoff time has also been pushed back to 7:30 p.m.
