The Laker Park-Audubon Raiders had their hands full in a season-opening loss at Hawley to the Nuggets 59-14 in girls basketball Tuesday night.
The Nuggets (1-0) held the Raiders (0-1) to nine points in the first half and just five in the second half.
Hawley’s Mira Ellefson and Olivia Olson led all scorers with 13 points each. Laina Nelson led the Raiders with five points.
