Parker Jackson, a senior at Detroit Lakes High School, was named to the 2014 Academic All-State wrestling first team.
30 athletes were honored by The Guillotine as All-State first team members for the 2013-14 season.
Jackson’s high school record is 42-5 and his career record is 171-40, including 50 pins. He placed fourth at 152 pounds in last year’s state tournament.
Jackson carries a GPA of 3.97 and was selected to be part of Team Minnesota this past summer. He competed for Team Minnesota in the National Dual tournament in Oklahoma City, OK in June and Fargo in July.
