The Laker volleyball team fell in Glyndon 3-0 against the Rebels in the season-opener for both clubs.
“D-G-F has a great team and our girls have a lot to be proud of,” head coach Lynnsey Wimmer said. “We will hit the court hard tomorrow as we prepare for Bemidji this Thursday at home.”
As the Lakers begin their campaign, Wimmer has highlighted serving and serve receive as key elements to success.
DL served 91 percent against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.
“This is big,” Wimmer said. “They are working hard towards 95 percent. I am so proud of them for this. Serving is a big part of the game.”

Junior Josie Harrier led DL with three digs and freshman Teeya Doopler led in kills with six.
Junior setter Naomi Larson has six assists. Junior Abby Schramel added five.
Sophomore Haidyn Gunderson had a team-high three blocks. Junior Mikayla Markuson recorded two.
Faith Anderson tallied team highs of 11 kills and four blocks to lead the Rebels.
