Three Lakers were named to the Mid-State All-Conference volleyball team for the 2020 season and a second trio of Lakers garnered honorable mention in an announcement released Thursday, Dec. 3.
Detroit Lakes senior libero Faith Keller, along with net presence of senior Gabby Fredrickson and freshman Grace Gunderson joined a group of 14 players earning all-conference distinctions.

Mid-State champions Pequot Lakes had the most players named with five, including Lydia Hubbard, the conference’s most valuable player.

Patriot head coach Chris Ganley is the coach of the year.
Pequot Lakes was the lone team to defeat Detroit Lakes in 10 games as the Lakers finished 8-2 overall. The Patriots had an 11-game winning streak snapped by Perham in the 8AA subsection playoff before the season was halted.
Three Lakers earned honorable mention: freshman setter Ava Jones and seniors Jordyn Johnson and Madison Foster.
