Sharp “best boxer” in Proctor

Lakes Area Boxing traveled to Proctor Saturday April 21 to compete and the day was highlighted by 10-year old Henry Sharp earning the best boxer award.

Sharp defeated Landon Palmi from Lorenzi's boxing gym in an 85-pound match by way of decision. Sharp’s performance earned him the best boxer trophy at the club show.

"Every week, I see these guys improving, they are in the gym constantly wanting to improve their skills,’ said coach Chris Holt. “One thing is for sure, they train to win and come to fight. I’m proud of them all.”

Andy Roy (15) defeated Anthony Ravina who also boxes out of Lorenzi's boxing gym in a 132-pound match by way of decision. LAB's Leonard Roy (13) lost a close match to Frankie Sherman from the Leech Lake boxing club  in a 175-pound match and LAB's Scott Webster (14) lost a close match to Golden Lakes Boxing club (Brainerd) Kouper Seidel in a 132-pound match.
