Devin Evovold scored one touchdown and threw for 100 yards as Polk County West defeated Lake Park-Audubon 41-14 here Friday.
The Raiders started the scoring off in the first quarter with a 16-yard pass from Reese Mattson to Hunter Christenson.
The Thunder followed with a 35-yard touchdown pass from Evavold to Beau Byklum, followed by a Zach Bethke kick to take the lead they would never relinquish.
Riley Wavra, Evavold, Pelon Pruneda, Paul Gapp and Bethke all added touchdowns to seal the win.
“I was very pleased with our performance,” said Polk County West coach Darrin Byklum. “We played a four-quarter football game. I give a lot of credit to our linemen. They created a lot of openings and opportunities for us.”

Byklum had four receptions for 100 yards, while Wavra was the leading rusher with 85 yards on 17 carries.
Trailing 34-6, Mattson threw his second touchdown of the game hooking up with Lane Ulmer from 10 yards out. Mattson and Mitch Hall converted the two point conversion pass.
Mattson was 8-21 for 142 yards, two TDs and two INTs.
Chase Roy led the Raider rushing attack with 70 yards on 18 carries.
PCS outgained LP-A 409-280 in total yards.
The Raiders fall to 1-5 while the Thunder remains undefeated at 6-0. LP-A will play its final home game of the regular season against Fertile-Beltrami (1-5) Friday, Oct. 2.
