Women's golf: Cihak named to First Team All-Conference following stellar sophomore season

SMITHVILLE, MO. – Detroit Lakes’ Anna Cihak was named to the All-NSIC First Team following the 2021-22 season.

Cihak led the University of Minnesota State-Mankato with an average score of 79.4 over 21 rounds throughout the season. Mankato took fourth place in the NSIC championship tournament and had three top-five tournament finishes throughout the season.

Cihak shot a season-low 72 at the Everspring Inn & Suites Mustang Invitational on Sept. 25-26.

During her freshman season, Cihak had an average score of 84,5 in 11 rounds. She took 12th place at the 2020-21 NSIC championships with a combined three-round score of 245.

Cihak will enter her junior season next fall.
