Raiders' stingy defense stymies NCW Panthers

Defense has been a common theme in the Lake Park-Audubon girls' basketball team's victories, and Monday in the Norman County West gym, that was certainly the case again.

Defense has been a common theme in the Lake Park-Audubon girls' basketball team's victories, and Monday in the Norman County West gym, that was certainly the case again.

The Raiders picked up their fourth win to pull to 4-5 on the season, with a convincing 55-33 win against the Panthers.

The stringent defense which is preached by LP-A head coach Tiffany Christiansen was practiced to perfection by the Raiders, as they allowed just 10 points in the first half, while piling on 30 themselves.

Guard Andi Knudsvig had 14 of her game-high 27 points in the first half, while Chelsey Raaen added five.

NCW's Kelsey Jacobson led the Panthers with 14 points.
