Perham pitcher Katie Johnson held the Lakers hitless for the first three innings before taking a tough loss.

Johnson escaped a bases-loaded with no outs situation allowing only one run on a passed ball to DL in the fourth inning. She struck out the side to get out of the jam collecting three of her eight strikeouts in the game.

Kirchner (9-3) fanned 11 batters, allowed three runs, one earned on four hits to get the victory.

The Lakers are now 12-6 overall and host the final game of the regular season, a section matchup Thursday, May 16 versus Fergus Falls (5-13) at 4:30 p.m.

The Otters have only one win in seven 8AAA games. DL is 2-2 in the section, currently in third place by QRF ranking behind Sartell-St. Stephen (12-3, 6-1) and Bemidji (9-7, 2-1).
