Tennis wins at Minnewaska, falls to Perham

Junior Sam Spry picked up his first varsity victory and sealed a 4-3 win over Minnewaska Tuesday, May 15 in boys tennis action.

“We were down a couple starters,” head coach Zach Biggar said. “I was impressed with the boys that stepped into the varsity lineup and they played well.”

The match was tied 3-3 with only Spry and Sam Peters on court at No. 4 singles to decide the dual.

“Sam played a great, patient match which secured the win for the team,” said Biggar.
