Badgers finish first season at Class A track

The United Clay Becker Badgers finished off the co-op’s inaugural season with a pair of relays and three individuals placing at the Class A track and field championships held at Hamline University June 8-9 in St. Paul.

The girls’ 4x800m relay team of sophomore Paige Thompson, freshman Maria Vetter, and eighth-graders Lily Peterson, and Faith Rustad ran a co-op record of 9:56.34 to place 13th overall. Rustad also placed 15th in the 800m run with co-op record time of 2:24.74.

The boys’ 4x800m relay team of juniors Nick Donovan and Hunter Magnusson, and seniors Austin Osland and Parker Tjaden finished 15th running a combined time of 8:35.14.

Sophomore Siri Danielson finished 12th in the 100m dash in 13.09.

Junior Hunter Magnusson finished 17th in the 300m hurdles (42.92).
