Former Friends of Tamarac President Ron Jenson says that receiving the Silver Eagle Award from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service last summer was “one of two major events in my life.” He stepped down from the Tamarac board after nine years, but will continue to be a presence at the Refuge, as he has taken on the job of managing its gift shop.
