Tom Miller

Sports reporter

Miller has covered sports at the Grand Forks Herald since 2004 and was the state sportswriter of the year in 2019 and 2022.

His primary beat is UND football but also reports on a variety of UND sports and local preps.

Miller is a Grand Forks native, 2004 Grand Forks Red River graduate and 2008 UND graduate with a degree in communications.

Miller started as a part-time employee in the fall of 2004 to cover games and take box scores, then was hired full-time in 2007.
