On Jan. 30 at 1:24 a.m., emergency dispatchers received a report of a house fire on Wannigan Road. At 7:29 a.m., a pickup truck was reported as on fire near Maple Avenue. No injuries.
On Jan. 29 at 6:44 p.m., a caller reported a house fire near Waubun, according to an emergency dispatch report. The fire was extinguished in about 40 minutes and the residence was de-smoked.
A 45-year-old Detroit Lakes woman reportedly rammed her Jeep Grand Cherokee into a 39-year-old Perham woman’s Hyundai Sonata multiple times causing damage, according to an emergency dispatch report.
On Jan. 17, three laptops and other electronic items were reported stolen from a residence, according to an emergency dispatch report. A suspect is being sought in connection with the incident.
On Jan. 11 at 3:16 p.m., a 45-year-old Twin Valley man suffered an apparent drug overdose. First responders performed CPR on the man upon arrival at the scene.
On Jan. 8 at 11:53 a.m., officers responded to a crash scene and believe one of the drivers may have passed out behind the wheel, which instigated the crash. A 38-year-old Ogema man was arrested.
On Dec. 31 at 7:53 p.m., emergency dispatchers received a report of an intoxicated man throwing items, which led to him cutting himself. He was transported to a nearby medical clinic.
On Dec. 26 at 11:19 a.m., near County Road 14, Detroit Lakes, a caller reported their mailbox was struck and damaged by a snow plow for the third consecutive year.
On Dec. 20 at 9:43 a.m., a caller reported their son had fallen and suffered a possible broken leg near Highway 87. A 38-year-old Frazee man was airlifted to a nearby medical clinic for treatment.
On Dec. 17, county dispatchers received a report of a man who had fallen through the ice on Leaf Lake near Big Cormorant. The man, and a conservation officer, were not seriously injured.
The daughter reported having her hair pulled and said the mother sat on top of her. A 37-year-old White Earth woman was arrested at the scene, according to an emergency dispatch report.
